The winner of this month’s Orange Computer giveaway is:

To claim the prize, Jesse will just need to reply by email and let me know the choice between the laptop or desktop computer and between Windows or Linux for the operating system.

If you didn’t win this month, you are still in the drawing to win in upcoming months. All you have to do is remain subscribed and check your emails from me to see if you won the giveaway drawing and reply to claim.

People from outside the La Crosse area are eligible to win. If you have a United States mailing address, I can ship the computer to you. If you are in the general La Crosse or Viroqua, Wisconsin, areas I can schedule to deliver the computer right to you.

Here are the two computers that the winner can choose from:

• Laptop: HP ProBook 450 G3

• Desktop: HP EliteDesk 800 G3 mini

I do have more of those models available for purchase, if either of those look like they would be a good fit for your computer needs.

Tech Tip: Keep Important Files From Being Lost

If you have documents or photos that are only on your computer, safeguard them from loss by making copies of them to another computer or multiple external storage drives (USB Flash drive, external hard drive, or SD card).

If the operating system stops working correctly and won’t start or your computer is physically damaged, you’ll have peace of mind knowing that you can retrieve your important files from the other places you’ve stored them.
