Retro PC with Windows XP

A lot of people have good memories of Windows XP. It seems like yesterday that Microsoft ended support for Windows XP, but it as already been over a decade (extended support ended April of 2014).

While I certainly do not recommend using XP as your primary way of connecting to the internet, it can be perfect to play older games and use older programs.

I’m putting together a great retro PC package: a refurbished Dell Optiplex 3010 with Windows XP Pro and many free games pre-installed. This could be a trip down memory lane or a chance to share a gaming experience with young people who weren’t even born when some of these games were originally published.
